In the community of this website br like a girdle round the earth br (did you read that, Will?) , br sharing the inner lives, br the hearts laid open in poetry, br br I see that love br br brings insecurity, br and disillusion (where there was illusion) , br and bitterness at love that's not returned br or worse, withdrawn, br and sometimes hate, br distrust, br withdrawal from love perhaps the worst br br and is there any remedy? br br only a small crumb of communal solace br and a curious technological discovery (thanks to our webmaster) : br br that 'my' poem quoting a friend: br br 'What you think you lack - give that..' br (because by giving, you find you have it br and can never lose it, lack it) br br has had 100 times more hits than any other poem of mine. br br I leave you with that thought.
