Michael Shepherd - ! Childhood

Michael Shepherd - ! Childhood

At the height of sun-pressed summer br the tar on the seaside pavement br stuck to the Start-Rite sandals br with a sound like half-dried glue. br Gg-luck, went each step. Bliss. br Life needed nothing else. br br Because we have not yet lived our life br we do not know - to grasp, or hoard - br that this - to live in the present with every sense, br without a thought, without a care - br is a totality of happiness br we may yearn for later br br but may remember br properly br without sentiment, br without regret; br and thus, br br forever.
