Herbert Nehrlich - Shattered

Herbert Nehrlich - Shattered

A crash destroyed my happy dream, br it must be glass that loudly shattered, br turns out a palm frond that I'd left, br just slightly yellow, and preparing br to leave its mother, one tall tree, br just hanging there, its quick revenge br destroyed the window near my head. br And as its tentacles were reaching br fanned by a breeze, which was a cousin br to stronger winds, four tiny touches on my cheeks br were making peace, while bearing need, br and logic from the palmtree kingdom. br I get the hint now, gentle giant br will point my ears and friendly eyes br at you who gives me shade and beauty. br And thank you for this dreamtime lesson.
