Sidi J. Mahtrow - Ugly

Sidi J. Mahtrow - Ugly

It's not the best br Of neighborhoods br But why throw her out br In this weather br Just because she's br Old, ugly and white. br Probably cost br Too much br To maintain br In the style br To which she br was accustomed. br Now brutishly br Tossed out, br She's probably br Broke as well. br br No doubt replaced br By a young pretty thing br With complexion br Clear and clean br And if that's not all br To tell, br One that's cheap and br Tawdry as well. br br So there she sits br On the curb br Waiting br For the end. br Will someone br Pick her up br And use her as she's br Been used before. br br Or will she be br Tossed aside br On the heap br Of waste br Like so much br Fodder br For society's br mill. br br Some will say br This is the fate br To which br she was born br Nature designed her br To be nothing but a vessel br Scorned and kept away br from prying eyes br Always serving her master br and his needs br to the very end. br br The society's unkind to a water closet.br br Sidi J.
