Herbert Nehrlich - Limerick For A Poet

Herbert Nehrlich - Limerick For A Poet

There once lived in sunny Tweed Heads br a great poet who had many pets br from a crow who could talk br to a wombat who'd walk br over all of the poet's made beds. br br And on weekends he welcomed a man br who brought with him a stainless steel can br it was full of the stuff br that is made for the tough br in the morning he didn't need bran. br br Mr Fittock comes every week br and without him it would be so bleak br and on special free Mondays br he can dwell on his fun days br says the bible, hooray to the meek. br br And when MY friend called Gentleman Jack br pays a visit to counterattack br it is Scotch or that Bourbon br which is slightly disturbing br I am sure we will throw a few back. br br So this shorty was writ for AS br who has seen the pathetic big mess br on the site for true poets br but he wouldn't quite show it br like the monster of Scotland's Lochness.
