Herbert Nehrlich - Farewell

Herbert Nehrlich - Farewell

Two lions, carved of stone br are lounging at the entrance. br Thus overseeing life as it unfolds br that early morning bare of promise. br He leaves, his alligator briefcase chained br next to a rolex thus completing his attire. br Brushed silver temples framing tiny renal vein br and facial features of a man in noble thought. br And as he purrs onto the treelined avenue br he does not glimpse the farewell wave behind blue drapes. br Two kings of jungle stay behind and guard his past br not understanding why there cannot be a future.
