Once more we talk about it. br How sad it's all become. br No matter how we look at it br this family is not one. br br They say it shouldn't matter. br Who needs them after all? br But, please explain the pain I feel br even though I've got it all. br br I see my pain and emptiness br like a hollowed out old tree... br It may seem to be standing tall br but, it's empty just like me. br br There's such a contradiction br to my entire life. br I'm happy and fulfilled br being a mother and a wife. br br What about 'a sister' br and 'a daughter'...how about that? br These are roles I was born to play. br Why can't I?
