poetry flows from my heart br the way wine gurgles br into this fine crystal glass br dancing with the moon br clinking to a lonesome night br the riveting sublime light br sparkles like the beauty of verses br sip by sip the light flows into me br line by line spirited verses br oozes from my heart br the essence distillled from br matters of heart and soul br my love, would you pour me wine br vintage wine from that bottle br that has caroused with time br to give us its real wonder? br through it i see the beauty br of the world as verses flow br from a seasoned heart that has br twisted, whaltzed, swung, rocked with time br br br inspired by br br A Drinking Song br WINE comes in at the mouth br And love comes in at the eye; br That's all we shall know for truth br Before we grow old and die. br I lift the glass to my mouth, br I look at you, and I sigh.
