Uriah Hamilton - Italian Poet

Uriah Hamilton - Italian Poet

Unrelenting dark rain br Drenches the downcast heart; br But the days would seem pleasant br And not sorrow-tinged br If I could only forget br The allure of her eyes br And the scent of her hair: br Then I would not dream foolish dreams br And I would not reel in such despair. br br Lovesick for prolonged months, br I fear I’m becoming an Italian poet.
