Sarah Martens - Falling

Sarah Martens - Falling

Falling was subtle and sweet. br Like plum purple coloured leaves in the fall, br letting go when they least expect, br Sifting and soaring in the soft cool breeze. br br I wonder; br When did I turn colour, br And fall into your eyes so deep, br You have claimed my dreams, br Like stars aver the everlasting darkness in the night. br No more am I just one in this savage garden. br You are the stem that holds me up br And the thorn that protects me like a rose. br br Falling was the beginning and the end; br The beginning to my dreams br and the end to the nightmares. br I have become full of life br Bliss is my theme br Love has grasped for my heart, br and consumed it as a whole. br My mind is inspired br To the very ends of my ability br I am a bud that has begun to fully bloom. br br Falling was… br a star, br a flower, br a realization br of all that is, and all that will become, br from two souls discovering each other, br and learning to be one.
