Michael Shepherd - 0373 Regret

Michael Shepherd - 0373 Regret

We have a 'past'...however, now, not true; br since only in the present is true life; br and yet, the heart may sometimes deeply rue br some past event, or memory of strife; br br and in those moments, we may humbly yearn br for one to whom to offer up our tears; br to beg forgiveness; to some greater turn br that we may live beyond what failure fears; br br and then we may seek transcendental One br to beg of him, return of soul to health; br or if we're so inclined, kneel to atone br to that one Self which is our very self. br br Sometimes detachment pleads duality br to find our godly self in unity.
