just now, today br and for a moment, thus br forever, br the heaviness of devil-darkened thought, br death in some disguise yet to be called out, br threatened grey ruin to the day br which is not mine br as that same devil, named, will not be mine - br br so pushed aside my dinner plate br and read a poem br br and rejoined the world of now br of sunshine, families, all br the heart loves br and mind turns grey br br and into devil's grey, and death and life br stepped gratitude.
