One foot immersed br the plan rehearsed, br then off at speed br to do the deed. br br Two hours on br the moon had gone. br The river flowed br kind willows bowed. br br He must have caught br a glimpse but thought br I'll let him pass br won't tell the brass. br br And fate did swim br (just as a whim) br alongside sweetly br although discreetly. br br She quickly kissed br rose in the mist br tend to another br perhaps his mother. br br Who sat with tears br and choking fears br at home alone br right by the phone. br br She had to wait br in that sad state br until it rang br or for the bang br br of shots out west br beyond the crest br of river's waves br where someone braves br br incarceration br in one small nation br so many died br and mothers cried.
