My pen is poised, what shall I write, br The mind is 'dark', it needs some light, br Some 'inspiration' would be enough br To trigger the fingers and do a rough br Transcript of thoughts which might be pleasing, br But somehow at present, I'm into squeezing br My brain, to think up a suitable start, br Why aren't I a person who's 'grey matter' is smart, br When out of the blue a sentence appears, br The brain reacts and the numbness clears, br To reveal a startling piece of Lit, br That suddenly becomes a Hit, br That would be great, but the chances are, br A million to one!
