Mary Nagy - Hiding In The Closet

Mary Nagy - Hiding In The Closet

I use to sit there br in the very back of your closet. br I knew nobody would look for me. br I'd just sit there br and smell your new clothes br and cry. br br It didn't seem fair br why I had one pair of pants br and three shirts br (that rarely saw a washing machine) . br br I know you said you ''needed'' them. br You had to look good br at the bar. br After all, why would I need new clothes? br I never went anywhere... br except school. br br And they wondered why br I wouldn't talk to people. br Even the ''retarded'' girl br told me I was weird. br br I still don't like shopping br for myself. br br I never want them to feel br the way I did br while I was hiding in that closet.
