Herbert Nehrlich - Money Tree

Herbert Nehrlich - Money Tree

Ten years ago, in Tennessee br I grew myself a money tree. br The money came in all-green leaves br my shepherd kept away the thieves. br My dog supplied his droppings, too br I added, also, chicken poo. br The tree grew big and even bigger br it was a huge imposing figure. br And from the top you could make out br Jack Daniel's place, on Hilltop Route. br I cared for, watered my big tree br it did allow me to be free. br And in the year thereafter it br had little ones, I said 'oh shit'. br Today I have a whole plantation br by far the largest in the nation. br I am the richest in the land br my life is great and never bland. br This shows what honest work can do br I wouldn't think it is for you.
