Are different thoughts really different? br In ways of dress br Black eyeliner br Long and black beribboned hair? br br Who lived and were forgotten br In the 60's? br They were gleefully different br But easily dismissed as youth br And are now copied as a phase br br I realised late in life how different br Eccentric and utterly interesting br Quentin Crisp was. br And how I would have liked to talk to him and hopefully be a friend. br But death erased him although br He hovers in my mind. br br Being a Bohemian is a way of life I love br Love of Books, poetry and life br Although people stare br It buoys me up br Because I am not like you br And very careful who I let br Through the door br No keeping up with the joneses br But keeping people special.
