I deeply resent br the ad above this poem br (well it was there br last time I looked) br for Carcanet Press br as if we were chums br them and I br far from it br not only am I br not published by them br in case you thought I was br br but br br they don't even answer my emails br offering them my poetry br at 100 off br br and their br selecting editor br is quoted as saying that br 'amateur' poets should br be wiped out br so much for br love of poetry br br I guess courtesy br isn't award-winning br these days br br br br (dammit, it's a different ad this time...
