With healing in her gentle touch br And gold dust in her hair, br Heaven lost an angel br When it sent a light so fair br To comfort all the wretched souls br Whose lives had come undone, br To help the dying reach their goal - br The warmth of Heaven's sun; br br And though her stay on earth was brief, br Her flame burned clear and strong br To show we can accomplish much br And yet not stay so long - br For passion can move mountains, br And love can do the same - br One dropp returns the ripple br To the Source from whence it came; br br She lived her life as she had planned br Before she was aware br That Heaven had a plan for her br And a gift for her to share - br Her name will live forever br On the lips of those she knew, br Though Heaven reclaimed an angel, br Earth has known one, too.
