willow moon pearce - Last song of the whale.

willow moon pearce - Last song of the whale.

Whales must think of humans as a paradox. br We rent boats to photograph them and listen br Overcome with emotion br To the to haunting cries from the deep. br br Whilst we think of these wonderful and br Intelligent creatures, br Crews in boats will be out there br With their explosive tipped harpoons br Chasing them until exhaustion sets in. br br Dull thud and a missile finds its mark br Blood fountains in the air br Slow death as the lungs are ruptured br Then brought to the side of the whaling ship br They are stripped of their fat and flesh. br br They are beautiful and graceful - br But how can anyone see them in the wild and hear br Their graceful song - their song of freedom br And wish this barbarous death br On a treasure of the sea. br br Our childrens children will see their end br Only see them in text books br Man - the killer of beauty and legend br br These are mammals with warm blood br And the tradgedy is - br They should not have to die.
