Mary Nagy - ''It's Just Another Bomb Threat Mom''

She's not in class br where she should be at 9: 15 a.m. br She's at the church br acrossed the street from the high school br She assured me she's fine. br ''Don't worry Mom'' br ''It's just another bomb threat br no big deal.'' br br She's so relaxed... br yet my heart races! br Could this be the day br that they aren't joking? br Who says it's just a ''threat''? br How am I supposed to stay calm br when the bomb sniffing dogs br are making their way br through the darkest hallways br of your school? br br This happens often... br too often. br The recurrent sight of the serpent-like br line of teenagers winding their way br acrossed the street br seeking the safety of the old church. br br Where are the parents br fighting for br ''separation of church and state'' br today? br I bet they're glad to have their child br sheltered by the church's crumbling walls now.
