I saw the stars tonight “oh Lord” br How brightly they did shine br So I thought I’d sit down and write br A poem to you our Lord br One that would bring you joy as it rhymed br br Could it be that you are joyous because br Of the upcoming celebration of your birthday br Are you sending the stars to show us your pleasure br For all of the praises and songs that will be sent up br On Christmas day br br Let the stars shine brighter brighter still br They’ve always been my favorites and br Lord they always will br br You “Oh Lord” are the brightest star br The ones in the sky just signify br How much you shine in the darkness br As you send unto the earth much light br br Lord within the confounds of my heart br I pray that you will always be present br And through my heart show unto others br Your Holy Spirit that lives within me br Which shines ever so bright! br ©Copyright 2004 Becky LaPrariebr br Becky LaPrariebr br
