Amidst life’s storms I find myself br Feeling that I don’t belong here for long br It is revealed to me that pain and suffering br Shall not forever prolong br br Though amidst life’s trials and tribulations br We remain here today yet God feels our br Agony when we mourn br As unto him we fervently pray br br One’s trials seems so small in comparison br To what our dear Jesus did endure br That huge sacrifice he offered all br As he was tormented upon Calvary br His death made it possible for us to be purified br br Amidst life’s ups and downs I stand amazed br And know that even now I am truly blessed br At this point in my life br br We are often blinded by the truth br Itself for deceit has been around us for so long br Yet if we remain in Christ and he in us br Deceit from Satan cannot prolong br br Amidst life’s trials Jesus can be found br For his words said “he shall never forsake us” br Nor leave our side br If you truly love Jesus my friends br His love and mercy and goodness you br Simply cannot deny! br ©Copyright 2005 Becky LaPrariebr br Becky LaPrariebr br
