My coat is furry, br I am lazy, br I will wake up, br when I’m hungry. br br Everybody's sleeping, br warm in bed, br I sleep on the floor, br this isn’t fair! br br My time is slow, br I’m going out, br I’ll be back when I want, br where's that mouse. br br Gather in the streets, br its another war, br us cats and dogs, br are ready to brawl. br br We chant our song, br we meow so proud, br the dogs begin to bark, br they bark so loud, br br They run at us br we run at them, br they use their teeth, br we use our heads. br br A dog bites my leg, br I screech in pain, br I scratch at his eyes, br he cowers away. br br I lay on the floor, br I cant even walk, br I have to get home, br so I start to crawl, br br Leaving the battle, br I hide in a bush, br I don’t make a noise, br In case I am caught. br br I look into the field, br I see my friends, br all being hurt br some already dead. br br I make it home, br the vets I go, br stitches I have, br and lots of strokes, br br they love me, I love them, br its a shame they didn’t know br my dear friend romeo and miss juliet, br the mismatched pair.
