I'd like to write a poem br And one that doesn't rhyme br But it's harder than I realised br I'm failing all the time br br I eradicated couplets br All triplets and quatrains br I modified the rhythm br But had to start again! br br And then I thought I'd cracked it br And produced non-rhyming verse br But in the end br The thing I'd penned br Was infinitely worsebr br Bridgid Patrickbr br
