For who ever this does reach, br on some foriegn sandy beach, br I sent this from southend pier, br 2005 was the year. br br I hope this little suprise, br Puts a sparkle in your eyes, br A little something from me to you br A journey across the endless blue. br br A poem in a bottle surfing the waves, br Swirling and bobbing for days and days. br Through wind, rain, thunder and sun, br I hope this poem doesn't sink before its begun. br br Yet should this poem not reach a sandy shore, br I hope it rests upon the ocean bed br and remains a poem in the sea forever more.
