Mega-tsunamis, br Tornadoes, and generally the br End of this earth. br br Television stations seem to love this carnage br Mixed together with the atrocity of war and starvation br The fear factor reaches out br And startles us. br br To add a touch of the macabre br We are told by experts unknown to most br When and where this will all happen br ' The Rapture ', cry the tv believers br ' You must be born again ', they reply br With a knowing grin. br br Saddened, I turn to my books br Of Ginsberg, Leary and Kerouak br Lean over and turn the damned thing off.
