Sidi J. Mahtrow - Transactional Analysis

Sidi J. Mahtrow - Transactional Analysis

Took a seat next to a friend in the bar. br Greeted him with 'Hey' br To which he replied, 'Yeah'. br And we sat quietly sipping our beer. br br I noticed he was twisting something br Between his thumb and forefinger. br Rolling it round and round a bit. br Nothing much else was going on. br br So, I said, 'Interesting.' br To which he replied, 'Yeah.' br And we sat awhile. br And he held it up to the light. br br Curiosity killed the cat, they say br So I asked, 'Could I see it.' br And he seemed surprised, br Unwilling to share it, I surmised. br br Then after another sip of beer, br He offered it to me br So I could more clearly see. br Although, he seemed somewhat at a loss. br br I took it carefully in my hand br And held it to the light br Yet I still did not understand, br What it was that held his interest. br br So, I said, 'Don't think br I ever seen br The likes of it.' br And he said, 'Yeah.' br br It had a soft texture br Pliable to the touch br And somewhat brown br But not too much. br br 'Interesting.' said I, br As I rolled it between br Thumb and forefinger br The way I had seen him do. br 'Yeah.' Said he. br br 'Where'd you get it? ' br I enquired as he finished his beer br And stood to go. br br 'My nose.'br br Sidi J.
