Connie Webb - Christmas

Connie Webb - Christmas

She still likes Christmas even though she ain’t religious br She likes gathering around the lighting of the big tree br With dressed up in velvet carolers singing joyously. br br She likes the parade with lighted trucks and candy canes br The walks around town in winter nights br While looking at all the glowing lights. br br The decorations are in stores way too soon br Almost before Halloween br But she still loves red and green. br br She still has her old tree in the hall closet br Which she takes out carefully each year br Seeing her ornaments brings her a sentimental tear. br br She loves the bell on the church br That chimes out carols galore br She likes the wreath upon her door. br br Santa Claus is real to her br She loves his jolly glow br She loves the stockings hanging in a row. br br She is glad people help out those in poverty br She likes the way that people share br And take the time to really care. br br She still likes Christmas even though she ain’t religious br And a part you may not see br Is the way she adores any nativity. br br She still likes Christmas even though she ain’t religious.
