Graham Jones - Another Place Another Time

Graham Jones - Another Place Another Time

I feel I may have lived before br Several hundred years ago br I see myself in peasants garb br In my hand there is a bow br br And as I stand I'm not alone br For others join at will br To form a line across a field br In front there is a hill br br Men on horse approach us br Their intent for all to see br Our arrows arc into the sky br To bring them to their knees br br Yet still they come toward us br But we will hold the line br For we are English bowmen br And have stood the test of time br br And though I shall not see it br Throughout the coming hours br My death will not have been in vain br As victory will be ours br br I feel I may have lived before br So many years ago br And as the shells scream overhead br I hear a whistle blow.
