I was in Guadalajara last Tuesday, and a waiter br came up to my table wearing a nametag that br said his name was Jesus. I couldn’t believe his br audacity and presumptuousness making fun of br our Lord like that! br br So I stood up and slugged him in the gut. He br went sprawling across the floor. Some br restaurant employees ran over and grabbed me br and held me down until the police came. What br a scene! br br I found out later the waiter’s name was actually br pronounced, “Hey-Seuss” and a lot of people in br Mexico have that name. I guess it’s a tribute to br Dr. Seuss or something, and not an insult br directed at our Lord. br br But how was I supposed to know that ridiculous br pronunciation? One of the things I hate about br Mexico is that everyone is always walking br around speaking Spanish.
