gershon hepner - idyllically not dorothy

Should heaven send me any son br I hope he’s not like Tennyson. br I’d rather have him play the fiddle br than rise and bow and speak an idyll. br br All words by Dorothy the Parker br inspire me, but mine are darker. br br For Siegfried clearly any idyll br is spoiled by presence of a Yidel, br for Wagner must play tennis on br the Sabbath and hunt venison. br br The first four lines are Dorothy’s. The rest are not.
