Is it legal for me br To call myself an animal? br Whilst human is what I try to be br br For the animal in me br Is transparent to see br If I get scared I plea or flee br br Sometimes I show bravery like a lion br With nerves of steel made of iron br br Sometimes I give off a scent br In the heat of the moment br br As a woman I have my season br When you can capture me on the heat br Till today, I do not understand the reason br Why I hunt then, like an animal hunting for its meat br br The animal in me is confused br The human in me is amused br br Is it legal for me br To call myself an animal? br Without being a cannibal br br I know my right from wrong br Taught by my guardians tongue br But even an animal knows where it belongs br Whilst trained with the right punishment song br br The fact is actual br I am an animal br Being human is my identity br While the only difference of reality; br Is the language!
