Ted was a boy at school, br More principled than the rest. br He excelled in all the fields br And he was teacher's best. br br His friends once decide br To plunder his neighbour's grove. br Ted warns them against this br But forcefully the friends move. br br Ted threatens to penalize them, br None takes heed to Ted. br He cries in agony for farmer br For he had a family to be fed. br br He then tries his diplomacy br And says, 'I'll assist you in this task! ' br And I must get three-fourths of plunder br Or I shall unveil your mask! br br They agree, to the orchard they go br And rob every apple cluster. br Ted gets his share of plunder br He, but, gives it away to the sodbuster. br br He narrates the entire episode br To the poor poorer prole, br Says, 'This was all I could save!
