She looked upon the dreary world, br Into the shadows of the night br The people asked her to look further more br But she told them she saw a beautiful sight br They asked her to open her eyes br So she blinked once, twice, and again br And by the third time she opened her eyes, br She saw an ignorant and awful trend br For the people surrounding her in this world br Were so close minded, which made them all so weak br Because what she saw in front of her br Was so beautiful she could hardly speak br She asked once more what kind of creatures they were, br To not see the beauty right in front of their eyes. br Then turned around to see them all staring with great surprise br For never had anyone ever questioned their authority br Like that in these heinous times br She sadly turned away and realized, br This was a world full of lies.
