Not Long Left - Four Years Falling (Crash Landing After A Four Year Manic Freefall)

Four years falling, br A thousand faces br flash by within a breath. br A just fallen feather br from a tree in heaven br falling with no choice br to where it shall land. br Time has no use here br mere hands clawing br at dead numbers. br Four years falling br Heated thoughts- br flashing visions br of inspiration. br Teasing and testing br the fragile pile of br memories- br Snippets of sanity- br winter walks br nursing the sick child. br Brakfast bar battles br like little hot pokers br of the past. br Four years falling, br stuck with the window br view of car speeding br through a small br suburban street. br visuals hazy br tired and blurry. br Hands tremble with br the weight of the br what, where, and whys. br Four years falling, br and now I have finally br landed, I have stepped br over the manic merry- go- round br yet the world is still spinning. br Slowly, unsteadily, substance br takes form. br Naked, I am left to wander: br Searching through the scattered br remains of the past, br dropping every second piece.
