Yesterday I played with my computer. br He sang songs to me, helped me simplify my work br Also confused me with his complexity; br But today it’s unwell, br Oh, What a pity! br br The rains came, the lightning struck br Electrical charges got transmitted to him. br Zrrrrrrrr… br His electronic emotions let out a spark br And before I knew it his face went dark. br br I let the rains reduce br On the problem at hand I mused. br My darling, computer was very sick br Pressing his buttons, I waited for it him to light up his face br The wall clock kept ticking, but he showed no recovery (trace) . br br I called the Electronics Doctor to cure him. br Asked Doc to give him anti-virus or a hard disk replacement. br He still didn’t turn on and all cures went to vain. br I guess he was too scared to open his eyes br Lest the water would pour again. br br Darling Computer, please come alive br I cannot live without you, even for a while. br Either he loved and missed me too much br Or he no longer was scared of rain & lightning br For that evening he lit up his screen with the sound of ‘ting’. br br I danced with joy and flirted with him br He allured me to romance him and for me he did sing. br I made a promise to protect him from rain and lightning br So that he never gets mad at me and never makes a fuss br And we lived happily ever after- the two of us. br br br (26 June 2006)br br .Pd.
