Ernestine Northover - Where I Belong

Ernestine Northover - Where I Belong

Float me out on the evening tide, br And I will sail the ocean blue, br Give me a boat and I will glide, br Across seas, to adventures new. br br Give me a craft, strong and nimble, br That will chase the waves so free, br One that will be like a symbol, br Of the adventurer, that is me. br br Let me face the thundering storms, br That range o'er this ocean vast, br And as each menacing cyclone forms, br I'll oppose every powerful blast. br br I shall ride the winds that wildly blow, br That will take me journeying on, br And whether they travel fast or slow, br These seas are where I belong.
