Diana Poems - A Mother's Day Gift

Diana Poems - A Mother's Day Gift

I watered you everyday br But for four days br I went away br br Coming back br I found you shriveled br Your leaves dried up and wrinkled br All the other flowers were smiling br But, you were the only one dieing br br I bought you on mother’s day br And you were not so cheap I must say br You had no blooms br But the sales man promised you would br So, I trusted too hard br And ripped the receipt br And took you home with me br br As hardy as you claim to be br You seem weak br No flower ever peaked br br I feed you fertilized food br As you are now on your death bed br But you haven’t woken up yet br I am still waiting br As I water you everyday br Maybe you’ll come back to life br And i’ll get my fifty-two dollars back some daybr br Diana Poemsbr br
