If we put closure to culture br Then in isolated torture br We suffer as human creatures br br So shall we remain cultured? br And mature slowly in grace br Or attempt losing face br At a certain time or a place! br br Even the scriptures and sculptures br Historical or man-made br That we rely upon with to trade br Are not exempt from culture br br So what is it about culture? br That makes a pleasant picture br This cultivated feature br Inspiring us to venture into adventures br Nod our heads in distasteful gestures br At certain unpleasant natures br br For the values a society captures br With or without structure br Right now or in the future br If I may have to lecture br Is acknowledged as culture!br br Sylvia Chidibr br
