Mathew Lewis - A mind is just a piece of meat

Mathew Lewis - A mind is just a piece of meat

We look for meaning in many things, br Hope for something that life might bring. br br But poetry's just a bunch of words, br And love is just a feeling. br br Everyday we wake up, a world within a world, br Hoping we'll find more meaning in a verb. br br But words are just imaginings, br And feelings are just a symphony of thoughts. br br We drink, laugh, have a good time, or at least try, br But in the end two words matter; Good bye. br br And imaginings are just the product of a mind, br And thoughts are just a whim gone wild. br br Existence, a facade we do our best to forget, br But all it ever means is that we live with regret. br br And a mind is just a piece of meat. br And a whim is something we'll never get.
