I saw two old women today br walking arm in arm out the sliding doors of the hospital br laughing and giggling and carrying on br drawing on each others strength for support. br br The vision in front of me brought joy to my heart br and I couldn't help but think br of the two of us and the way we are br I hope we never change. br br Thier grey hair fashioned almost the same br the slow gait on each other they blamed br the years of friendship tangible br and audible the merriment produced by the other. br br I see us in the two of them br sticking to each other through all the years br holding on to each other during pain and tears, br celebrating our goals and success. br br The bond between us is no little thing br for which I am grateful br you and I and the two old ladies br we are something better than just friends.
