Pete Crowther - Spurn Point

Pete Crowther - Spurn Point

Here the land narrows br and curves br to a tenuous line br of sand and br sparse marram grass br scarce noticed in the br misty distances br of estuary and open sea br save for those tall br proud sentinels, br the lighthouses, whose lights br no longer shine br across the waves br to light the night br for passing ships; br yet still they stand, br as seamarks now, br above the windswept dunes br of lonesome, br sea-girt, almost-island br Spurn.
