Last night I was saying my prayers when I suddenly br realized Satan could probably hear me just as easily br as God could. He could be listening to what I was br telling God and could use it to trip me up. br br So I think we should all stop praying out loud. br We’re only spilling the beans to Satan. br br Instead, we should just “think” our prayers. br Actually, I’m not sure that’s a good idea because br maybe God will have a tough time differentiating br between our prayer-thoughts and our regular br thoughts. They do have a tendency to get all mixed br together. Besides, thinking your prayers doesn’t feel br very participatory. br br I guess we could just mouth our prayers without br making a sound, but what if Satan can read lips? So br maybe just go ahead and say your prayers out loud br but just keep your mouth shut while you’re doing it. br I know, I know, it will sound unintelligible, kind of br like you’re gagged: Mmrrf fmnr rffm! Can you br imagine a whole prayer like that? I hope God can br decipher it! br br The alternative is to simply pray like you normally br do but throw in a bunch of lies and fake desires to br throw Satan off the track.
