And the stream was long and narrow br Running 'side.....the crooked marrow br Of the smoked-black....wooded bark br Through the dark woods of Killclarke br br And, on Augustides...afternoons face br We watched magic......take its' place br Off the windbreaks and the shadows br Silhouettes..........of nesting sparrows br br Flight juxtaposed....and flanked in ''V br Then breaking flank.......in serpentine br They flutter..............into verdant tree's br And, goldenrod is aroused in breeze br br 'Bove our heads windpipes in whistle br Stroking.......... prickled flower thistles br Painting colours........shades of green br Creating the artists..........finest dream br br And, could life yet, get.........any better br Then with you, and i................together br Sharing love...............against the bark br By the cool streams..........of Killclarkebr br Frank James Ryan Jr...
