David Darbyshire - Give Way

David Darbyshire - Give Way

I know a man from Lancashire br who had a horse and cart for hire. br The horse was old but the cart is strong, br somehow together they didn't belong. br br When they became one there was a change, br Ears went up, whip in the tail, snap the riegns. br They came to a bridge, it looked a little weak br As they crossed, it hobbled, tapped and creaked. br br The wooden bridge was small and norrow br not to long, but only room for one to pass. br Towards them flapped a little brown sparrow, br horse thinks, no way he's makin me into an ass. br br The old horse snorted and put his head down, br nothing would stop them getting to town. br Said the horse: ' no one's gettin in my way' br Then the little sparrow flew up, got out the way. br br Hovering above watching everything, br just like a slow motion scene. br The sparrow saw the horse br fly through the trucks screen. br br P.S. We used a proffessional stunt horse, he is Ok.
