Noticed I was all alone today br But realized I never felt alone br Now I can log on the computer br Instead of going for the phone br br It's wonderful when people visit br And I love my phone calls too br But now I have this special place br To come and visit with all of you br br I can take the extra time in here br To say it with a poem or rhyme br To sit and think what's in my soul br Where I am not hurried for time br br Things I would never say in person br For it's easier to say in written words br Because you my internet friends br Have heard what no one else has heard br br I can come to you with anything br No matter how silly, real or unreal br You're always there to show you care br And just let me express how I feel br br It seems it is easier to talk to you br Than with any one else that I know br For I can let my guard down here br And let all of my emotions show br br So I thank you all for being here br And I count you as treasured friends br I hope I will always be here for you br And I pray this kinship never endsbr br steve raybr br
