The boat anchored br On the shore br Swings a bit br As the waves splash; br br But when the tide br Gets real mad, br It tries its best br To hold on there. br br So are we anchored br In our lives br To our faith, our family, br And our friends; br br The daily ups-and-downs br Shake us a bit, br But a major haul br Almost jolts us down. br br That’s when we need br All our anchors there br That would keep us afloat br And hold us firmly in place; br br And prevent us from toppling over, br And from going astray; br Thus, being anchored helps us br To keep our problems at bay. br br br br br 15th October 2006 br 08.
