In blue-white feathers a bird adorned br I saw from my bed this early morn br Against the sky, as he shrieked by br 'do you know what he says? ' to my wife I sigh br br 'He's calling 'thief! ', in that raucous voice! ' br My wife asks - ''Thief'? Is that by choice? br or in other countries does he utter br not in English, but another? ' br br 'Hmm.. Blue Jays, I think, are an American bird - br at least as far as I have heard. br But what the heck - br there IS Quebec. br There it should be a different word br Where, it could be, that they shout 'Merde! '' br br (If anyone knows what the FrenchCanadian version of this birdcall is, I'd love to know.
