Parents, your duty calls... br the mission is one amazing feat br One that requires great skill with br all the responsibilities you will meet br br From a helpless little baby br you're to do all the fill-in br And see to it that you raise br the next generation's men and women br br I know it's not an easy role br and for this not everybody's fit br But it's a job with great rewards br if you only put your heart into it br br Kids minds are like hungry sponges, br their hunger to learn just won't quit br And frightening to know that it's all up to you br as to what you put in it br br So feed their minds by teaching them br it's what keeps them growing br Teach them love, honor, respect, compassion, br and to do that is by SHOWING! ! br br Being a parent is a life-time job br a task that will never be complete br But one thing that you MUST do br is make yourself obsolete br br Don't forget to give them lots of happy times br it's something parents can't forget to do, br 'Cause when they grow up it's those stories br that they'll tell their kids to br br So I write to wish you all the best br and pray for your success too br Because your child could change the world.... br Solely on his reflection of you.
